Today we will be taking a look at the book: Don't Call Me Special written by Pat Thomas and illustrated by Lesley Harker.
A great book for 4-7 year olds. This book talks about special needs, without it being a big deal. It talks about how we should be aware of those around us and their needs. One person may just need extra help in some areas while others don't. We all have something unique to us and that is okay. We don't need to be called special because of it.
