Today we will be spotlighting the book: A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon.
This silly book was written for kids ages 4-8 year olds. While the book is silly and full of lively pictures, it holds a very important meaning to it as well. This girl in this story loves lima beans, but she's afraid to eat them. No one likes them at her school. It worries her so much about what people will think about her liking lima beans that she breaks out into stripes. Read this story to find out what she learns.
