We believe that for children to build a firm foundation for life they need to have hands on experiences, strong relationships, and a healthy environment. We believe that before we sit a child down to learn their colors, letter, and etc that they need to have a trusting relationship with those around them and feel comfortable with their environment. Once they have this they'll have a higher chance of obtaining what they learn and can continue to build those relationships around them through learning, resolving conflict and problem solving together.

Our center uses the Bank Street program model. Which Erik Erikson was one of the theorist of and is also one who our centers staff admires. Through the Bank Street model and Erik Erikson's theories we believe we should look at the child's emotional feelings to help them build a firm foundation for life. We believe following current trends is a valuable thing. Some of our current trends we are following currently are creating a "yes: environment and having children learn through play. Following trends can help us as teachers stay in tuned to what is recent and going around. As well as helping the kids in our program thrive so that they are not falling back compared to their peers. If you would like to read more on what trends we are following feel free to click the button below.

We believe that play is crucial for children because they get to experience what they are learning. This then helps them to think more complexly and remember it much better. This is one of our current trend we are following, so by click the below button you can read on this some more.
